XDT Marches Towards Mental Health Awareness

You may be well-dressed every morning. But stressed, depressed, and
restless behind that branded suit you wear today.”

Last March 12, 2024, Tuesday of the Fourth Week of Lent, XDT held a
mass led by Fr. Aldwin Ivan Gerolao. During his homily, he tackled
Mental Health Awareness. He reminded everyone to check on one
another no matter how busy we are.

Fr. Aldwin gave prominence that someone’s mental health cannot be
defined nor discerned by how someone looks or acts. They might hide
with a façade of happiness instead of looking grumpy. They might be
stressed, depressed, and restless while being well-dressed.

The message of the mass deeply touched everyone. Before it ended,
birthday celebrants for March received a prayer from everyone who
wished them a year filled with God’s richest blessings. After the mass,
newly acquired units of XDT, with sisters of Carmelite who surprisingly
visited and participated, were blessed by Fr. Aldwin.
